Almost every computer user has at least one or two online accounts which require entering a username and password. The problem is that when having numerous accounts, it may be really difficult to memorize the username and password for each of them. Writing down the password on a piece of paper or in a notebook may not be too secure and may not help you much. A much better idea for organizing and keeping all your passwords is to store them inside the PassCrypt application.

This Windows program allows you to keep any login information in a safe place, where only you will be able to see it, after entering a master password. After the program has been installed, the user first needs to set the location of the password file and, optionally, protect it with a master password, so that no unauthorized people will have access to it.

After that, all the user has to do is to enter his login information inside the program's interface. There are various folders available, according to the type of login information, like Software, Internet, Email and so on. What's more, the application allows entering the website URL and automatically filling in the login information. Besides storing username and password information, PassCrypt also allows you to generate complex passwords, which are almost impossible to crack by hackers. For this, the user will only need to enter the password length and strength and the application will automatically generate a different password, accordingly.

Pros

It allows you to store any kind of login information, like usernames, passwords, email addresses and so on, organized in different categories. Besides that, the program's functionality can be protected with a master password, so that nobody will have access to it. Furthermore, it features a password generator which enables you to generate complex passwords.

Cons

There is no recovery option in case the user loses or forgets the master password. PassCrypt allows you to store all your usernames and passwords in a safe place and access them anytime, anywhere with ease.
